KC and Kinsey both attended the University of Oklahoma where they earned their Bachelor degrees. At OU, KC met Kinsey and to his surprise, she became his wife. They were married in August of 2003.
After college, KC served as a youth pastor for a combined 11 years in Weatherford, Oklahoma, and then Warrensburg, Missouri. In both cities KC and Kinsey saw a need among the university students and developed new college ministries in addition to serving the youth and their families.
KC earned his Masters of Divinity with Biblical Languages from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in 2012 while serving as Church Planter Resident at Stonegate Church in Midlothian, Texas.
The Maddoxes moved to Lawrence at the beginning of 2014.
KC and Kinsey have three daughters, Quinn, Liv and Anna; and a son, Crews.
Ethan and Skye were raised in Weatherford, Oklahoma. They began dating in high school, and married in college while attending Southwestern Oklahoma State University.
While in college, Ethan led worship weekly for a student-led college ministry on campus and a youth ministry in Mustang, Oklahoma. During this time, God began stirring their hearts toward the local church.
In 2011, Ethan and Skye moved to Oklahoma City. Ethan began serving as a Worship Leader at Quail Springs Baptist Church. The Lord has led Ethan to realize that worship is more than singing songs. Worshiping through song is teaching God's Word while celebrating the Father’s goodness through Jesus Christ by the work of the Holy Spirit.
The Sperles moved to Lawrence at the beginning of 2014.
Ethan and Skye have a daughter, Blythe, and a son, Isaac.
