ABOUT KC

KC is one of our founding pastors. KC and his wife Kinsey moved to Lawrence in 2014 to start Free City Church. KC and Kinsey have four children: Quinn, Liv, Crews, and Anna. Prior to moving to Lawrence, they did youth ministry, started two church-based college ministries, and served as a church planting resident in a newly started church. KC completed a Master in Divinity with a concentration in biblical languages from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Outside of work, KC and Kinsey find themselves remodeling, enjoying kids’ sports, plays, etc. and lots of outside activities.

A formative verse is 2 Corinthians 1:20: “For all the promises of God find their Yes in him (Jesus). That is why it is through him that we utter our Amen to God for his glory.”  KC said, “This verse reminds me that we live by the promises of God, and that there is a sustaining promise for each and every season.”
