Life Transformation Groups (LTGs) are groups of 2-3 people (of the same gender) that meet regularly. There should be three elements to each meeting: accountability, scripture and prayer.
ACCOUNTABILITY
We want to confess and repent of our sin and press one another to believe more deeply in the good news of Jesus’ life, death and resurrection in every aspect of our lives. We want to be uncomfortably honest about our struggles and bring them to light, because we hate sin and love Jesus.
SCRIPTURE
What have you been reading? What have been takeaways from your reading? We want to be people formed by the Word of God, walking in the Spirit. Check out the Free City Bible Reading Plan for a good resource, or LTGs can follow their own Bible Reading Plan.
PRAY
LTGs are committed to praying for one another regularly and praying for people in each other’s lives. We encourage regular meetings to be spaces for prayer together.
QUESTIONS
Where: Where are you this week? What or who are you trusting in besides Jesus?
What: What have you been reading in the Scriptures? What are you learning?
How: How is the Word of God affecting your life?
Who: Who is someone who needs Jesus? How do you plan to weave them into your community?
