KC Maddox, Ethan Sperle and their families moved to Lawrence, Kansas, to plant Free City Church.
OUR FIRST CITY GROUP
We had our first City Group on April 14, 2014, with about twelve people.
our first sunday
We had our first corporate worship gathering on September 14, 2014. We joined together to sing, pray, hear the preaching of the Word and to take communion together.
transition TO CENTRAL MIDDLE SCHOOL
On January 8, 2017, we transitioned from Sunday nights at Vintage Church to Sunday mornings at Liberty Memorial Central Middle School. Since the start in 2014, we've seen God work in miraculous ways. Through the message of the gospel, lives are being changed. The Holy Spirit is breathing life into people; renewing hearts, restoring relationships. Through this, have seen many baptized, and countless individuals are being transformed and empowered to live out the mission of God wherever He has them.
