JESUS IS ALIVE

All the hopes and expectations of Christians are realized in the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, making Easter the most celebrative day of the church year.

We regularly begin our Easter Sunday worship service with a traditional call and response:

The Lord is risen!

The Lord is risen, indeed!

The Lord is risen!

The Lord is risen, indeed!

The Lord is risen, indeed!

This is the truth that has been heralded for more than two millenia: Death did not have the last word. The grave couldn’t hold him... JESUS IS ALIVE!

The good news of the resurrection changes everything. It is the most true, powerful, life-transforming story.

We invite you to celebrate this reality: That Jesus Christ died on the cross for our sins, was buried and rose on the third day.

Utilize this resource however you see fit. Walk through the guide with your family, roommates, or alone. You could also consider joining a Zoom call with your City Group and dividing up readings. We have also recommended songs to listen to to accompany your home worship. Feel free to follow along with the songs as they’re laid out in the liturgy or just listen straight through.
