CALL TO WORSHIP (Psalm 36:5-9)

Song: This is My Father’s World [Babcock]

CONFESSION

Father, your love draws us to confess our sins. Your love is greater than our deep brokenness. We have wandered our own way, declared ourselves in charge of our lives, and made ourselves outcast from you and others. Your love is greater than our blindness to our brokenness. We minimize our sin, acting like we’re fractured but not broken, like we can get by on our own strength. Your love is greater than our complacency in our brokenness. We sometimes treat the truth of brokenness like a get out of jail free card. We don’t push forward and fight. We under-believe that you can transform us. Cover over our sins, Father, in the depths of your love.
